We are very pleased to have been awarded the status of Highest Quality Assured and Local Produce Champion in the Taste Durham awards last week. Thanks to all our team at Bradley Burn Farm Shop for their hard work, and thanks to all our local suppliers who continue to make great local food!

On the caravan park...

Have a look at our latest caravans for sale by clicking here.   We are offering some great out of season discounts on selected caravans.  It’s a quiet time of year on the caravan park, and we are closed for February as usual. We would like to remind all our customers to make sure their caravans are drained down in line with manufacturer’s and insurer’s recommendations.

On the farm... chill

Cattle are warm and dry in the shed, bedded with straw and fed on silage and barley.  Our Wensleydale Sheep are braving the weather and tidying up the autumn grass.  They will be lambing in early April.  Winter crops are hibernating during the cold weather  - we are still trying to keep slugs and crows off one late drilled crop of wheat and the dreaded pigeons off our oilseed rape.  We’re still busy delivering Bradley potatoes to local customers.
