The Farm Shop and Café is open throughout the year. Housed in a beautiful log cabin, tables on our terrace overlook the burn flowing past. We specialise in the best of local and regional food and offer a wide variety of quality fresh food. All our café dishes are home cooked in the kitchen. We make soups, quiches and scrumptious puddings and cakes, and we serve a hearty casserole every Sunday.
As a result of our commitment to sourcing local food for the cafe menu we have been recognised as a ‘Local Produce Champion’ in the 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Taste of Durham awards.

A simple bacon butty! Can be undercooked, overcooked, 'orrible!!. This was perfect. Crisp tasty bacon, warm bun, tomato, service smiling and lovely. Thank you. |
