The Farm Shop and Café are open throughout the year.
They are housed in a beautiful Scandinavian log cabin. A large terrace overlooks the burn flowing past. There is an enclosed play area off it.
We specialise in the best of local and regional food and offer a wide variety of quality fresh food. All our café dishes are home cooked in the kitchen. We make soups, quiches and scrumptious puddings and cakes, and we serve a traditional roast every Sunday.
As a result of our commitment to sourcing local food for the cafe menu we have been recognised as a ‘Local Produce Champion’ in the 2009 and 2010 Taste of Durham awards.
